Many health communities have set up Health Information Centres that have information leaflets on particular illnesses, services, access to list of local GP Surgeries and the ability to organise your prescription pre-payment.

Many Centres are set up in public places such as on the High Street and Public Libraries. As access to information improves these centres will be more electronically based, similar to the information kiosks.
